Give your acting more body! Join Kamela Dolinova for a highly physical exploration of the role of the body in acting.Covering questions of character embodiment, efficiency of movement, accessing and clearing emotions, and connecting with scene partners, this workshop will give actors in our community a solid grounding in cultivating authentic presence onstage by tapping into the body's wisdom.

Special news bulletin: a grisly murder has taken place in London; suspect still at large. A young couple ready to start their new lives as host/hostess of Monkswell Manor guest house are warned by police that the murderer is heading their way. With their new guests arriving, a snow storm trapping them inside, and an enterprising detective on skis, the hunt is on to uncover who the murderer is before they have a chance to strike again

A black envelope, a visit from a summer fling, and a mysterious hammering in the old field set off accusations and recriminations at the family gathering for Mary Gillen's 27th birthday.
FirstWorks is Theatre@First's workshop program for new plays. With this program we aim to engage with Boston-area playwrights and support new works. One full-length play will be chosen for each session of FirstWorks. Playwrights will have the opportunity to gain feedback on their work from experienced directors and actors during the revision process, followed by a staged reading with feedback from our enthusiastic and insightful audience.
