The Baltimore Waltz
The Baltimore Waltz is Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel's tragical-farcical love letter to her brother, Carl, who died of AIDS in 1988. It is a breathless, bawdy, and dreamlike tour through a Europe that exists only in the imagination of old Hollywood.
Anna has contracted a dread illness - Acquired Toilet Disease, or ATD - and her brother Carl whisks her through Europe to find an experimental cure. Only after countless sexual adventures and film-noir-style intrigue with the mysterious Third Man do we discover the truth.
Please note: This show will have strobe light effects for part of the performance.
