About the Play

The Rimers of Eldritch is a portrait of a former mining town in Missouri, “population about 70,” where sin hides behind a facade of Christian morality and people who don’t conform to their neighbors’ standards live in isolation. Over the course of a year a man is murdered and a woman tried for it, lovers come together and fall apart, bored teenagers search for adventure and escape, and families hide conflicts behind closed doors. Their stories blend together seamlessly in a nonlinear collage of events, relationships and secrets.

The play contains some strong language and mature themes.
