Most of Theatre@First's shows take place at a venue in or near Davis Square, Somerville. If you are driving, Davis Square is at the intersection of Elm St, Highland Ave, College Ave, and Holland Ave; it is just south of Powderhouse Circle (Broadway and Powder House Blvd), east of Teele Square (Curtis St and Broadway), and west of Porter Square, Cambridge (Massachusetts Ave). Parking is available at metered spots on the street and in several public parking lots within a 5-minute walk.
Via the MBTA, Davis Square can be reached directly by the Red Line subway (Davis Square station) or by several bus routes, including #'s 80, 87, 88, 89, 90, 94, & 96. You can also take the 77 bus to the corner of Massachusetts Ave and Dover St and walk about 5 minutes north on Dover St to Davis Square.

Unity Somerville is located four blocks up College Avenue from Davis Square, on the left side of the street, at the corner of William Street and College Avenue. The entrance to the theatre is on William Street, direct form the sidewalk at the front of the building. The performance space is not wheelchair-accessible.
While Unity is not wheelchair-accessible, we can provide the following details:
The bathrooms are on the same level as the sidewalk; bathrooms are single-stalled.
There are 7 steps down into the audience space; the 6-foot wide stairwell has railings along both walls.
Most shows will have an aisle down the middle of the performance space. The width may vary, but we endeavor to build it wide enough for ideal mobility.
