Bare Bones

Bare Bones: Staged Readings at Theatre@First offers directors, casts and audiences the chance to explore a wide variety of plays in a spare, intense setting. Perfect for smaller cast sizes or shows that don't need everything that goes along with a full staging, Bare Bones gives our directors the chance to work with scripts they love that don't fit our mainstage production requirements. The productions are low-key; the staged readings are anything but!

If you're interested in proposing a Bare Bones production, please read more about the program on the Bare Bones Submissions page.
