The Housekeeper

by Ginger Lazarus

directed by Elizabeth Hunter

Charlie Frey doesn't think he needs a housekeeper after his wife's death, but with his family falling apart, someone has to look after the house and listen to the dead woman who haunts them. For Adelina, the most challenging ghosts aren't the ones she finds in the Freys' home, but the ones she brings with her.

About The Director: Elizabeth Hunter is the founding Artistic Director of Theatre@First. Since 2003 she has directed more than a dozen shows for us, including Bare Bones: Clubfoot (2011) and Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses (2016). She has also appeared onstage, most recently as Dysart (Equus 2009) and Hecuba (Trojan Women 2014). She has acted and directed with collegiate and community groups throughout the Boston area, but her favorite project is parenting Alice.
