directed by Mary Parker

in honor of Jaie Deschene

presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection. (www.dramatists.com)

Web of Murder is a murder mystery/farce in the style of Agatha Christie. Minerva Osterman is the domineering head of the family, living in her cliffside mansion with her daughter Stephanie, housekeeper Nora, and Dr. Adler. When she invites her two nieces up for a stormy weekend in her home to discuss her will, secrets will be uncovered and the murders will commence.

Mary Parker was honored to take up the mantle of this show, in Jaie's honor. You can read her obituary here.

Theatre@First donated a percentage of profits from this production to Save the Whales, in Jaie's honor.

In Jaie's words: "With everything that's going on right now, it seems like caring for ocean mammals should be low priority, but in fact many cherished aspects of our lives rely on the preservation of the precious life contained in our seas.  Whales are intelligent, beautiful creatures who have repeatedly shown love and affection for us.  The least we can do is look out for them."
