Monthly Monologues at Theatre@First

A fun, virtual way to participate in theatre from home! Through this monthly contest, we encourage actors to film and share a monologue. Anyone can view, enjoy, and vote for their favorite submissions. Each month, a new event will be created via the Theatre@First Facebook page and Theatre@First Community group with specific details on where to post your submissions and how to vote!

How to Submit: Film yourself performing a one- to two-minute monologue or speech. Each month has a different theme, so be sure to check before you choose your entry!

How to Vote: All community members are encouraged to vote for their favorite entry once all monologues are submitted. Vote via the Google form posted following the submission deadline.

Costumes, backgrounds, props, etc are not necessary, but please feel free to include them and get creative. This is something fun and friendly to keep us connected, creative, and entertained during these difficult times. Whether you submit a video yourself or just watch the submissions of others, we hope you enjoy!
