Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead

by Tom Stoppard

directed by Elizabeth Hunter

presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.

What would you do if you suddenly found yourself living in the world of Hamlet? When Rosencrantz & Guildenstern find themselves rushing toward Elsinore with the rules of probability playing funny tricks, they don't know which way is up! Celebrate Theatre@First's 10th Anniversary with Tom Stoppard's wise and witty masterwork.

About the Director: Elizabeth Hunter is the founding Artistic Director of Theatre@First. Ten years ago, she directed Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead for the first time, followed by Murder in the Cathedral, Talley's Folly, The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Margaret Ghost, Much Ado About Nothing, Never After, Pride & Prejudice, and The Vagina Monologues. She also founded Bare Bones: Staged Readings at T@F and directed Clubfoot, or Tales from the Back of an Ambulance as part of that ongoing series. As an actor, she has appeared with T@F for Festival@First 2: Summer Splash: My Boyfriend's Wife (Raina), You Can't Take It With You (Penny), Equus (Dysart), and Bare Bones: Mrs. Hawking (Mrs. Hawking). Elizabeth is excited to celebrate Theatre@First's 10th Anniversary by returning to the beginning and seeing how far we've come.
