written and directed by Mike Haddad
There are two certainties in life, and a show about taxes would just be sad.
This show is a collection of pieces all centered around the theme of death. Death touches every person's life, between obsessing about the thought of our own and coping with the loss of those that pass in our time. It is a source of great mystery and fear. Much like the variety of human responses to death, some of these pieces are sad, others darkly humorous, some bitter and others accepting.
About The Director: Mike Haddad has worked as an actor, writer, and director with many local theatre groups including The Opposite of People, Hovey Players, MIT Shakespeare Ensemble, and Devanaugn Theatre. He has appeared on the T@F stage in The Bully Plays, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, and Henry the 4th, and directed our production of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap earlier this year. He is the Co-Festival Director of the upcoming Festival@First 8: Fractured Fairy-Tales. When not doing theatre, Mike performs live every school day as a high school Latin teacher. He sends love and thanks to his wonderfully supportive wife and two beautiful children.
